Preliminary Design
The finalized concept was taken and material type and thickness, fillet radii, and support points were optimized.

Analysis
This is a picture of the mesh used in one of the FEA simulations that were completed. Shell elements were used because this is a thin sheet metal part.

Analysis
The primary simulation that was performed was to see the level of stress that could be expected in the part under the aerodynamic loads on the wing. The factor of safety is approximately 2.
